The Rev. Jean Denton completed her BSN at Cornell University, her MA at Columbia University Teachers College, and her certification as a spiritual director at Haden Institute. After a long career in nursing education and health care administration, she was ordained deacon, focusing her service on parish-based health ministry. Later ordained as a priest, Jean served as Senior Associate Rector at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Indianapolis. She left full-time parish ministry to support her husband during his thirteen-year struggle with younger-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
